It is provided under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 (GDPR). Cookies have their own policy: the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.operval.com\/en\/cookie-policy\/\">Cookie Policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>1. Which data we collect and why<\/h2>\n<h3>Requests sent through the forms<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Data:<\/strong> what you write in the form. In the contact forms: first and last name, email address, phone number and message. In the form on the Dealers page: first and last name, company, email address, country, city, whether you are writing as a company, a freelancer or a private individual, and message. In the form to become a dealer: first and last name, company, city and country, email address, website and message.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Why:<\/strong> to reply to you and follow up on your request.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Legal basis:<\/strong> taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Required fields:<\/strong> the fields marked with an asterisk are needed to reply to you: without them the request cannot be sent. The others are optional.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Where it goes:<\/strong> the message reaches Operval by email and a copy is kept in the Site&#8217;s database. [DA CONFERMARE: If, in the form on the Dealers page, you choose to contact a dealer, we forward the request to the dealer for your area.]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Visit statistics<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Data:<\/strong> pages visited, length of the visit, type of device and browser, approximate location (country and city) derived from the IP address, pseudonymous identifiers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Why:<\/strong> to understand, in aggregate form, how the Site is used and to improve it.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Legal basis:<\/strong> your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give from the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tool:<\/strong> Google Analytics 4. It is activated only if you accept statistics cookies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Operation and security of the Site<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Data:<\/strong> IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, type of browser, recorded by the server that hosts the Site.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Why:<\/strong> to make the Site work and protect it from abuse.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Legal basis:<\/strong> the controller&#8217;s legitimate interest in the security and operation of the Site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Cookie preferences<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Data:<\/strong> the choice you make in the banner, with date and time.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Why:<\/strong> to remember it and be able to prove it.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Legal basis:<\/strong> compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Videos and maps<\/h3>\n<p>The videos on the Site are hosted by YouTube and the maps are provided by Google Maps. They are loaded only when you press the button to view them, or straight away if you have accepted the &#8220;Social&#8221; category in the banner. At that point Google processes some of your browsing data according to its own policy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We do not collect special categories of data<\/strong> (such as data about health or opinions) and we ask you not to include them in your message. <strong>We do not use your data for advertising or profiling and we do not make automated decisions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>3. How long we keep the data<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Requests sent through the forms:<\/strong> [DA CONFERMARE: 24 months] from the last contact, then they are deleted.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Statistics:<\/strong> [DA CONFERMARE: 2 or 14 months, depending on the Google Analytics setting].<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cookie preferences:<\/strong> 12 months.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Server logs:<\/strong> for the period set by the hosting provider.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>4. Who we share the data with<\/h2>\n<p>Your data is not sold or passed on for marketing purposes. It is processed, on behalf of the controller, by the providers needed to run the Site:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Hostinger<\/strong>: hosting of the Site.<\/li>\n<li><strong>DIGIVAL<\/strong>: development and technical maintenance of the Site.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Google Ireland Limited<\/strong>: Google Analytics, YouTube videos and Google Maps. <a href=\"https:\/\/policies.google.com\/privacy?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google Privacy Policy<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Consently<\/strong>: cookie consent management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We may also disclose data to the authorities when the law requires it.<\/p>\n<h2>5. Transfer of data outside the European Union<\/h2>\n<p>Google may process some data in the United States. The transfer takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google adheres, and of the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.<\/p>\n<h2>6. How we protect the data<\/h2>\n<p>The Site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access to the administration area is restricted to authorised people. In the event of a data breach that puts your rights at risk, we will inform the data protection authority and, where required, you, within the time limits set by law.<\/p>\n<h2>7. Your rights<\/h2>\n<p>At any time you can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>find out whether we process your data and obtain a copy (access);<\/li>\n<li>have it corrected (rectification) or deleted (erasure);<\/li>\n<li>ask us to restrict its processing or object to processing based on legitimate interest;<\/li>\n<li>receive the data you gave us in a commonly used format (portability);<\/li>\n<li>withdraw your consent to statistics cookies and third-party content, using the &#8220;Cookie preferences&#8221; button at the bottom of every page, without affecting processing already carried out.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To exercise them, write to <a href=\"mailto:info@operval.com\">info@operval.com<\/a>: we reply within one month. We check that the request comes from the same email address used to contact us; in case of doubt we may ask you for further information to confirm your identity.<\/p>\n<p>You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.garanteprivacy.it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Garante per la protezione dei dati personali<\/a>, or with the authority of your country of residence.<\/p>\n<h2>8. Minors<\/h2>\n<p>The Site is not aimed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a minor has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.<\/p>\n<h2>9. Changes to this policy<\/h2>\n<p>We may update this policy, for example when the services used by the Site change.
